▸ Legacy
A trade passed from one generation to the next.
A family reinforcing-steel lineage — from Kenneth Whetstone to Stephen Armstrong, and from Stephen to his sons.

Stephen Charles Armstrong built a California steel business after learning the trade under Kenneth Whetstone. The family-supplied contractor record for Stephen Armstrong Steel lists an issue date of January 14, 1986. Dustin Kenneth Charles Armstrong carries Kenneth's name and grew up around the work. He joined the family company's summer crews in 1993, later led crews of his own, and spent years inside Southern California's custom-pool and reinforced-concrete market. After Stephen's death in 2008, his sons carried the family work forward. The Pennsylvania operation is a separate current business chapter built on that trade lineage.
